Our name represents the membership's desire to control our own destiny and to assist those who are economically, educationally, socially less fortunate, and homeless, in controlling their destiny. We are non-profit, organized and chartered for the purpose of acquiring and administering funds and property, which after the payment of necessary expenses, shall be devoted exclusively to religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes. We promote civic and social activities in the community; demonstrated by the conduct and character of our members a genuine concern for the civic and social enrichment of the community, and to promote a sense of involvement and comradeship among its members.
